About Me

I lived in Munich, Germany, for nearly 10 years and graduated from Munich American High School. I worked briefly in advertising (as a secretary), in fashion (as a proofreader), and for a consulting firm (as an editor). I spent 10 years working at FIT in Manhattan doing PR and writing recruitment publications. I spent nearly 23 years working for the union office of a Long Island school district as a bookkeeper/office manager.

I am a published playwright and have experience as both a director and producer. Three of my plays were produced on Long Island in the early 2000’s.

I published Get In The Car: A Food and Travel Memoir in February 2021. After not writing fiction for nearly 20 years, in May 2023, I published a collection of short stories titled, The Camp People . Both are available on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle version.

I have two children – Nicholas and Rachel, a husband – Lynn, and a very old (1850’s) colonial farm house on 4+ acres in the Mohawk Valley in upstate New York. I wrote about the renovation of the house we are currently living in for nine years.
